Telling stories of professional experience can be a powerful form of development for teachers and teacher educators but staleness and a lack of progress after a group has met and told stories on several occasions can detract from the original positive impact. We will consider and try out refreshing variations on storytelling such as thematising, role-plays, and reframing.
