I have just finished a presentation given by David Nunan about language learning beyond classroom. He suggested that language learning outside the classroom is complementary. Outside classroom learning are one-way in which students read extensively, listen intensively and prepare vocabulary notebook. This is known as teacher- guided activities. In two-way, which is less teacher-guided, students might work on a theme-based project or study abroad.
