Teaching English to Cuban health technology learners has become a challenge and a
dilemma. The authors of a course book explore the advantages of an adequate balance
of the communicative, functional/notional, task-based learning and grammatical
approaches in which the main goal is to teach how to use English in a health technology
specialist’s domain and context.
