This talk will introduce the Open University’s recently developed EAP courses, giving links to course websites and opportunities to explore online material and activities. These are needs/purpose analysis based, orientated towards language in context, for a diverse student body and based on building online communities of language users. We will demonstrate how we achieve this in the distance learning context.
