Teacher training, professional development and TKT: the Cuban experience

The Havana Pedagogical University as a teacher training institution has been actively involved in the implementation of TKT preparation courses sponsored by the British Council in Havana, to contribute to the professional development of teachers. This talk explores the language teacher training model in Cuba, the strategy for professional development and finally the experience to integrate TKT into this strategy.
