Welcome Reception and Brighton

The Welcome Reception gave a very warm welcome for the delegates of IATEFL. We were offered free drinks and a company of old and new friends. ELT was in the air with the networking opportunities and friendly conversations!

After the reception, I had the chance to explore the city. My first impression about Brighton is that it is just brilliant! It is great to take a short stroll on the beachfront and take fresh sea air. When I ask something on the streets, friendly local people are willing to help, which makes me feel at home! Plus, the weather is pretty good if we compare it with British typical weather!

16th of April is the first day of the IATEFL conference and I am excited for the big day!
