Teaching EAP

I have recently passed the Cambridge CELTA course. I wish to teach EAP. I have a PhD and a PGDip in TESOL, but keep getting turned down at interviews because i don't have any EAP experience. I am familiar with EAP course books and i proof read academic papers at all levels.
How do i get an EAP teaching job without EAP teaching experience?

Drop me a line at office@languageservicesco.com. I might know of a specific opportunity. A general answer is that, like many jobs, the first one is the most difficult. You have to somehow get some kind of experience, maybe short-term work, for example. Connections are of course the other way in :-)
