Hi Anthony,
We are working to enable Html5 to all our videos. Which will enable you to view all video on mobile devices. I will let you know on the progress of this.

Hi Martin,
That's great news - thank you!
Hi BOT,
Is there any way to italicise text?
The usual doesn't seem to work. Is there a new, faster, sleeker, fleeter way of doing it that hasn't reached Siberia yet?
Cheers,
Tony
Hi Tony,
<em> Can be used italicise text</em>, Hope this helps.
Additional information about styling can be found at http://iatefl.britishcouncil.org/2011/filter/tips

Hi Martin,
That's terrific - thanks!

Hi,
My name is not showing up at the `Sessions` tab. What should I do to have my name shown, and what are the steps to have my presentation files online?
Thanks in advance,
Hi Julian & co again,
This is my third IATEFL online conference but I'm afraid I still don't remember how I can copy one of the banners onto my Facebook account (I don't mean just linking to a text about the conference, I would like to post the actual banner).
Thanks for any help!
Diana
Hi Diana
There are two way you can do this.
One is going to our Brighton Promotion page, there you will find 3 images you can download (right click on image - and save as) to your desktop and then upload it to your Blog.
A second way is to just copy the HTML code below the image where it says Here is the HTML code for this banner. If you copy that onto your post (make sure it is in HTML view) and save, it should appear on your blog.
Martin
Thank you, Martin! The first way sounds easier as I'm not sure what "in HTML view" means, so I'll save the banner onto my desktop and transfer it from there.
Thank you for your swift help.
Diana
P.S. It worked! I used the big one and it came out at a reasonable size on my FB page. Thanks again
HI Diana,
Glad I could help. You can also find IATEFL Online on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/iateflonline.

Hi there
The notifications don't seem to be working. Did anyone else subscribe to threads, get a few emails, and then nothing?
I'm the moderator on the TDSIG board. I subscribed to the threads that I knew about, and it worked for a few days, but then nothing (so I stupidly assumed there was nothing going on, and went about my business).
Also, I really would like to be notified when there are new threads, not just posts on existing threads, and I don't seem to be able to do that.
Oh, and by the way, what is a "node"?
Cheers
And my "fall back" notifications by RSS aren't working either. Says "no new posts" for 5 days.
OK, working out the answer to my own questions... I now see that you have to subscribe to new threads, which I hadn't done, but that's where the activity has been. The threads I am subscribed to have been inactive.
As for the RSS feed, it comes from the main TDSIG forum page, so therefore only shows new threads.
I guess the procedure should be:
1. Get notified of new threads via RSS
2. Sign up manually to the new thread to receive email notification
3. Don't post problems without investigating them properly first
Oh, and it seems that a "node" is another word for a "thread".
It'd be nice if there was a unified way of doing all this, i.e. full feeds via RSS and/or email.
Any prospect of this happening before the conference kicks off in earnest?
Cheers
Hi Mark,
Rss feed have been corrected and now work correctly.

Pity video media requires adobe flash and Apple mobile devices (iPhone etc) don't support that: any workarounds available?
