Teacher Development by Radio - Awgichew Arega
Teacher Development programs can be carried out in different ways. Radio can be taken as one means. By using radio we can transmit different programs that are aimed at providing English language teaching related issues for large number of English language teachers. For example, in Ethiopia, there is TDR programme which is broadcast in the capital.

In Ethiopia , we are implementing Teacher Development by Radio program. It's an interesting means for Teacher development.
I will give a workshop at the 44th Annual International IATEFL conference and Exhibition in Harrogate on the issue of Teacher Development by Radio. It will be carried out at Queen's 5 room from 16:05-16:35 on Thursday 8 April, 2010. Those of you who are at the conference, please come and join me.
