I’m based in London and work for the British Council as a Product Manger in English and Exams.
I've worked for the British Council in Colombia and Brazil. This is the fourth IATEFL Online conference I've been involved in. I worked with members of this team to bring you Cardiff Online ['09], Exeter Online ['08] and Aberdeen Online in 2007.

I am a web developer for the British Council LearnEnglish, TeachingEnglish and PremierSkills websites. I've worked on the IATEFL Online project for the past 3 years. If you've been with us the last couple of years, then you'll know that every year, we aim to bring you new and innovative communication and presentation tools to better cover the Iatefl conference.

I'm Gavin and I'm Honorary Secretary of IATEFL. I've also been Coordinator of the Learning Technologies SIG and the newsletter editor too. I've been volunteering for IATEFL for quite a few years now and enjoy the chance to meet people from around the world and work with people who share the same passions. I'm looking forward to another successful online conference and hope to meet you all there.

I'm Neil and I'm based in Hong Kong working for the British Council. I've been developing and managing some of the British Council's online teacher training courses and have also been working on various Council websites.

Hello I am Sheraz from British Council London office. I have been working as Web Manager in our London office for the past 3 years and have had opportunity to work overseas for exciting two years. I have been part of the IATEFL team that has been bringing the conference to you online. Devo's worked as an English teacher and writer for many years. He currently lives in Lisbon and manages the LearnEnglish Central website. This is his second year working on the IATEFL Online project. Devo will be giving his presentation at Harrogate on the brand new British Council LearnEnglish website.

I'm Stephen and I manage large scale corporate training projects for the British Council in India. My other interest is in technology-enhanced learning and this year I'll complete an MA with the UK Open University in Online and Distance Education. I shadowed the IO team last year and then managed a mini version of IO in Delhi for a BC conference www.britishcouncil.org/india-english-efp-online. I'm presenting in Harrogate this year and looking forward to playing a bigger role in the IO team!

I’m based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia working for the British Council. I work on designing teacher training materials that are delivered worldwide. This is my first year working directly with the IATEFL online team, but I have used the IATEFL online videos in training sessions for the past 4 years. Nik Peachey is a freelance ELT and technology writer, consultant and teacher trainer based in Morocco. He has been involved in ELT since 1992 and has worked all over the world for organisations like the British Council and International House. He also works on three of the IATEFL SIG committees and writes and publishes 3 technology focused blog websites. The main one of these is Nik's learning technology blog.
