Trouble shooting: [FAQ] presenters uploading materials to Harrogate Online
Over the past days we've become aware of a few tips that may help presenters overcome a few issues related to the creation of a session / uploading materials to Harrogate Online:
Hope these help:
1. "I have applied for a presenter account and I followed the instructions here but I can`t see the "Add a Session" button."
Harrogate Online Team tip>> this is because your account has not be approved yet. Each account is approved manually and at certain times during the day, you may need to wait a few hours. Thanks for your patience.
2. "When I enter my name in the presenters name box I get: <<Presenter: found no valid user with that name.>>"
Harrogate Online Team tip>> The 'Presenter name' (or names) you enter in the names box needs to be the user name from this website. When uploading your presentation details, please use your user name as the presenter of the session. If you don't use a valid user name the site won't recognise the presenter name.
Please get back to us with any other issues and we'll resolve them here

Another problem I have is that neither my name Alexander, nor my co-presenter's name, Argent, appears in the session index. Can you tell me why this is and can we fix it?

I'm having problems uploading my session materials and now seem to have opened a discusssion thread unintentionally :-/ Can anyone remove it please?
Could you also let me know how to upload out PP and handouts?

Here's how to upload documents to your session page
1. go to the session page you created
2. click 'edit'
3. click 'associated documents' on the left side of this page - this gives you an opportunity to search/upload

As I couldn't see my docs after uploading them, I uploaded them again and now my presentation is listed twice. I tried to delete one myself but couldn't figure out how. Can you delete the one which does not have the docs attached to it?

Same problem as several other above - I uploaded our presentation, but couldn't see it in the list, even after several minuetes, so uploaded it again(twice!) Now there seem to be three versions of the same thing - pls delete two of them.
Also I couldn't add the name of my co-presenter, Thelma Umeh. I tried to register on her behalf, but I think she may need to access her email account to validate the registration first (?)and only then can her name be added. Can you confirm?

I'd previously uploaded some sample materials (as a pdf) to accompany the presentation I'm giving with my colleague, Sue Argent.
Today I uploaded the presentation itself (again as a pdf file). That seemed to go OK but when I tried to check that both files were there I can only open/see one from the new window. Although both are shown as tabs in that window, if I click on the tab to see the other file the window closes. If I then open the window again I can see the other file.
Can you get the view window to stay open so I can click the tabs and alternate between files?
