A talk about my recent co-authored ELTJ paper on this question is now available from the research section of WWW.TESOLacademic.org

Hi

This looks very interesting indeed. Thank you for posting your link. I look forward to reading more about your research in this area and to hearing what everybody has to say on this comparison. I think I would like to learn grammar via interactive web games only in short spurts, but I would personally prefer the good old-fashioned way of completing exercises on paper. I find I learn more effectively in this way.

Personally, I'd prefer interactive Web games that offer learning grammar with fun. But one challenge is to make sure that there are no pop-ups or pics that are culturally inappropriate. Also, we should be cautious about issues like authorship, currency & accessibility. Apart from these challenges, I think learning grammar with fun and a lot of interactive activities and games is most desirable.
