How can we make training materials designed for a global audience relevant to local contexts? This presentation refers to the materials development work done on ETTE: English for Teaching: Teaching for English, a British Council regional project in Central and South Asia. It describes how trainers from eight countries developed the British Council's global product ‘Classroom Language' for local use.
