The presentation is about China in the western eyes and the way the new English speaking Chinese elites are trying to present to the West the new China in their own terms. China is in their eyes a new emerging world power but is met with great criticism from western media. All these controversial issues have great impact on English education policy and paradigms' changes in TESOL or TEFL in China.
