About Elaine Boyd

Elaine Boyd is an ELT writer, examiner and teacher trainer. She taught English for over 20 years in Italy, Spain and the UK. She has been an examiner, both in the UK and abroad, and has written a wide range of exam material for over 15 years. She has particular expertise in Writing, Listening and Speaking exams. She has completed a PhD in Linguistics and has a particular interest in vocabulary. She currently spends most of her time writing materials for publication and is the author of Activate B2 and Premium C1 published by Pearson Longman.
