WORDREADY 2.0 is a ground-breaking resource designed to support the learning and teaching of vocabulary. This talk will be of most interest to those teachers who are keen to see how the latest learning technologies (desktop & handheld) can be applied to one of the most troublesome aspects of additional language learning: efficiently building a serviceable vocabulary.

About Mark Osborne

Since 1994 Mark has worked exclusively on the design and management of interactive multimedia language learning materials development projects.
In 2004, Mark co-founded L2 (http://www.L2.co.uk) to develop and publish innovative, research-driven, quality language learning solutions to meet real learning needs, based on best practice, and using new learning technologies.
Before that, Mark was Project Manager for the British Council’s CD-ROM Project. Over a period of 10 years, the Project produced a variety of multimedia learning packages for use in the British Council Teaching Centres worldwide.
