When does planning stop? From initial planning to in-class decisions

We describe an investigation into the process of planning, materials adaptation and lesson execution undertaken by four teachers designing 1-hour lessons around a single textbook unit for their respective classes. We focus on personal teaching styles and generic teaching techniques that emerged leading to the design of an online learning/teaching package to improve trainee confidence and insight into lesson planning.
