Thank you for this information, it is rather interesting & useful, because I am a teacher of Lesosibirsk branch of Siberian State University of technology. I work with economic students. My students make mistakes in pronunciation of course. I correct them but the students make mistakes again & again. One more important point is to give good feedback. A lot of students don't perceive my feedback adequetly. Could you give me a piece of advice!?

Dear Nat, Thanks for your

Dear Nat,

Thanks for your comment. I think any piece of advice can work only in some specific environment. Much depends on motivation. If they don't care how they sound, you won't force them to sound good. Some of them even skip classes. I still think that only those who can be called "perfectionists"and who would like to progress would choose to have a good accent. It is kind of "superstructure". And I would prefer to have fewer but well motivated students.
