What for me lies behind the

What for me lies behind the session's title:

  • moving away from the “I teach, you learn” model of education, towards a more participatory, collaborative form of learning
  • taking students’ experience of learning English beyond the confines of the classroom
  • encouraging learner autonomy
  • catering for multiple intelligences
  • engaging students in tasks and projects that have real outcomes
