Thanks Diana. The workshop
Thanks Diana. The workshop went very well, I felt (great attendance too). I don't think it was videoed unfortunately (I'm not sure what i needed to do to have it available on video). 40 minutes is too short for a workshop though!
It's a pity you can't read
It's a pity you can't read the postings on the "Moderators Only" forum, Andy, because we have just been discussing how much the presenters at Cardiff catered for the online community by joining in the discussions on the relevant SIA forum before the conference, uploading their materials in time and replying to /giving feedback afterwards. The conclusion the OMs and the Team came to was that this was desirable but wholly voluntary and dependant on the presenter's resources and priorities.
But I must say YOU did your bit here! On behalf of the ELT-M forum, thanks again!
Pity about the videoing, but there was too much going on simultaneously to catch everything, I guess.

Hi Andy, I bet I'm the first
Hi Andy,
I bet I'm the first to "comment" on your session, which if I have got the time warp right, will have just finished. Unfortunately there hasn't been a video of it (yet?) and I don't know whether the "roving reporters" took up my suggestion/request of this morning to go to it, so the only person who I know for sure was there is YOU !
Thus I am asking you to make a start with this thread and tell us how your workshop went and what sort of contributions your participants made. Then I hope some of the latter will post , too, unless they are too busy enjoying attending the conference and socialising !! (a small attack of sour grapes, not to worry).
Looking forward to your feedback!
Diana
Roving Reporter Natalia came
Roving Reporter Natalia came up trumps and went to this session for us. Great! Please look at the link:

I am really looking forward to the discussion on Conflict Management being continued after the conference (and in the case of Andy, when he is online again), when people will have time to "digest" all they have seen, heard and read.
