Creating interesting language exercises, and making language exercises interesting
Presented By Penny Ur
Session Details
In this workshop we shall look at some grammar, vocabulary and spelling exercises, discuss what makes them more - or less - interesting, and explore some strategies that can add interest to the boring ones. The aim is to equip participants with some ‘practical principles’ for creating and maintaining interest in essentially form-focused procedures.

A very interesting, enjoyable
A very interesting, enjoyable and informative presentation by Penny Ur. it's of great importance to both experienced and novice teachers and shows us how to create more motivating tasks for our students and therefore avoid boredom and demotivation
This was a very interesting,
This was a very interesting, enjoyable session. The "students" seemed to be interested, really involved, participating in every activity suggested.
It was important to notice Penny Ur's clear instructions, and her sense of humour, which also add a positive, motivating atmosphere. Penny Ur has clearly shown how important it is to devise more interesting ways to interact with our learners.
