Encouraging learners to make connections between texts - and between different kinds of texts - is an exciting way to stimulate motivation to read and to practise skills. Why and how to make these connections will be demonstrated with activities from Frankenstein, The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, The Phantom of the Opera, which are all Black Cat graded readers.
