This talk aims to show teachers the value of carrying out one or more kinds of small-scale, practically orientated research. We shall look at some actual examples and use them as a starting point for thinking about the different sorts of investigations that would benefit our work. Reference will be made to research projects undertaken for the Trinity DipTESOL.
