The parable of the black swan and hopeful solutions
Presented By Martyn Coulter
Session Details
Until recently a black swan was unknown ;in our lessons we can have black swans , that is ' things' which happen which we did not plan or account for; what are they and how do we deal with them? The theme of this discussion , drawing extensively upon the experiences of the delegates ,will consider these two issues. The first will identify ' teaching black swans 'and the second part will involve the practice of counselling skills and techniques, which will be proposed, at least in part, as a way of dealing with ' black swan issues.'
