Many teachers use colour in their teaching. Research into language-colour synesthesia suggests that individualising colour use may enhance language learning. We will present insights drawn from the language learning experience of synesthetes (people who experience an automatic connection between language and colours), and invite you to add colour to your own teaching and learning.
