For what reasons would you interrupt a student (if at all) during a classroom conversation? How ‘interventionist' are you as a teacher when it comes to error correction and vocabulary teaching?  These are 2 questions which will be discussed in the light of extracts from a 4 month classroom diary I kept as an intermediate student of Spanish.
