As technology becomes cheaper and more readily available, teachers can be tempted to adopt it uncritically. This talk describes a doctoral research project where students work together in collaborative groups and with technology to create their own learning materials. The goal of the project is to see if collaborative creation of learning materials using technology helps participants learn more effectively.
