DIT's dynamic speech corpus and the new learning paradigm

The Dublin Institute of Technology’s FLUENT Dynamic Speech Corpus is aimed at autonomous learners, teachers, authors and researchers. It is a unique audio resource based on high quality and natural dialogues. Users can find phonetically and pedagogically interesting samples on a chosen topic, explore their phonological and pragmatic context and slow down sequences for heightened intelligibility. Prototype completion: July 2010.
