Sessions on using technology in ELF teaching

Actually there's been a lot talk on using technology in EFL teaching. Linda Roth from University of Sheffield made a presentation on using MOLE to complement her face-to-face classes. The attendees were presented with a number of students' and teachers' views on using this technology. Students usually feel much better about it then teachers. Probably because Ss are much technology-friendlier and teachers realize that using a new technology often presupposes lots of extra preparation work.

 

Marico Miyao from Japan talked about Effective use of information technology in college EFL courses. She showed a number of student-centred activities that her students created using Hot Potato, a free tool inside Moodle that has a wide range of opportunities  for creating colourful interactive exercises like quizzes, gap-fillings, crosswords, etc. Visit this sites for more information and ideas:
