YouTube in the ELT classroom

Video in ELT was one of the topics we discussed in the LMCS discussion list and I'd like to bring this up again here. Video was some sort of fancy thing in the 80's then it became less faschionable. Now that we have YouTube, I wonder if it is not time to bring it back to ELT
Do you use YouTube material in your lessons? If so, how often, what for and how do you select the material?
I'd be really glad if you shared your experience and ideas with us.
Cheers - Chris
Hi Chris and Ma del Pilar,
I don´t feel so guilty now when I "use" my children to update me about music and the latest youtube material!
You are right, Maryadelpilar, there are so many links we can make now we have the web at our disposal, I wish we had the time too!
Best,
Graciana

Hi Chris,
I have a wonderful source of information at home, my children, they are teens and they provide me with wonderful material from youtube, when I told them I was working with Ron Butlin´s The Colourful Life of Calum Mc Call they told me about Don Mc Lean´s Starry Night www.com/watch?v=nKvLq0TYiwI. The combination works wonders.
Cheers.
