Hi there,

I'm a Hungarian student of English at a Hungarian university. Next
semester I have to finish my university studies so I have to write a
thesis. I chose the topic 'English through the media'. Basically I
would like to write about how some people develop their foreign
language knowledge (in my case English) by watching movies, Tv shows
etc. in the choosen language.

My teacher told me that this is an interesting but difficult topic, and
that I should read as much literature on this topic as possible.

So I would like to ask for help. First of all I would like to ask
for related literature, references, books, studies anything that I
could use in my thesis. If you could write me some authors and titles,
I would really appreciate it. Secondly I'd also welcome any ideas,
comments,remarks about this topic or how I should write about this.
