A lot in these forums has been already said about the importance of intercultural issues in Business English teaching.

I think one of the ways to study cultural diversity would be an international links project: a collaborative online group task between students from different institutes/universities in different countries.

I’ve personally never tried these things before but I think it could be a very challenging, interesting and informative intercultural experience both for the teacher and for the students. They will all have to collaborate, students with other students and a teacher will probably collaborate with another teacher.

Has anyone done such projects before? Which sites have you used?
What are the advantages and the disadvantages of such an activity? What do you think?
