Intercultural communication

Hi Everybody!
My name is Tatiana. I am from Ukraine. I am a teacher of English for 25 years. It is my third experience of internet conference of IATEFL. I like it very much. It gives us opportunity to communicate with common teachers of different countries. Last year I proposed to discuss communicative approach to studing foreign languages, but not so many teachers agreed to do it. I had a project and I realised it. Now I created the site for students and teachers to discuss problems of teaching English. I invite everybody to join it and take part at the discussion: http://zubenko.ning.com/.
Last year I created Centre of intercultural communication. It serves to organize cooperation between students, universities, cultures of different countries. I suppose it will help to raise motivation of studing foreign language. If you want to share your culture, literature, music call to the site http://cenincom.ning.com/.

Hi Tatiana
Welcome to the group on the behalf of the moderators!
Thanks for bringing up the topic of intercultural communication. This is really an issue that concerns our SIG but sometimes it is a bit neglected. Would you tell us a bit more about your project and experience in Ukraine?
Looking forward to hearing from you on this.
Cheers - Chris
