Dear all,

In recent months, many parts of the world have suffered economic uncertainty, in the form of instability in banking and other financial institutions and fluctuations in currency values and prices.

How is this economic uncertainty affecting the local EFL market in your part of the world? Is the number of students learning English in their country of origin affected? How about the numbers of international students travelling to English speaking countries? Is the job market for teachers affected?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts,

Helen

Hi Helen,

I believe that your question is a very insightful one. It addresses an important/vital issue- a recent one.

I think that teachers in the private sector can have a lot to say, more than those who work in the public one.

Cheerio

Tarik
