Cardiff 2009 is over and I am on my way back to Germany.
Tomorrow I will try to give a few general impressions and make a couple of suggestions for the future.
Dennis
Dennis,
Are you sad about this? Cardiff online was only supposed to be alive for 7 weeks and it will still be there for us to look things up in for some time to come. It isn't really "dead", just dormant !!

Diana,,
Good morning! No, not sad - just a way of writing. As a matter of fact, some 3 or 4 people from this list also joined the IATEFL YLT SIG list which I moderate, and two people joined IATEFL I knew the list was only planned to be active for a number of weeks.
Best wishes,
Dennis
Dear Dennis,
I'm confused! There are two things here which I am trying to compare:
Having strayed onto this YL forum a couple of weeks ago, I found out from you about the YLT SIG group and now get lots of mails from this, but cannot take part. Have I missed doing something? Do I have to get an account there somewhere, too?
I don't really see the need to join IATEFL right now...
Do you have visitors, lurkers and users on the YLT SIG list too?
Just generally, what is the quintessential difference between the SIA YL forum here and the YLT SIG list type of interaction, apart from the length of time they are respectively active?

Interesting. Rest in peace, Young Learners, Cardiff Online 2009. There have been no posts in the last few days.
Don't forget to have a look at:
IATEFL Young Learners and Teenager SIG
where there is a programme of discussion and much more throughout the year.
