The Consultants-E Online IATEFL Scholarship This is a scholarship for teachers unable to attend our annual conference but who participate actively in the online conference by making relevant and thoughtful postings. The award is given by The Consultants-E and comprises a fully funded 2 week online course to be selected from their course list. (http://www.theconsultants-e.com ) The winner can choose from any of the following courses:
- Blogs
- Wikis
- eNetworks
- Podcasting
No one can be awarded the scholarship more than once.

To qualify applicants must:
• live and work in a developing country
• submit a 300 word statement of interest to The Consultants-E within two weeks after the end of the IATEFL conference
• have 5 – 6 hours per week available to study for the duration of the course
• have a reliable Internet connection for the duration of the course
• be able to undertake the course within a year of winning
• be able to disseminate course learning to his/her colleagues at home

The award committee will consist of two representatives from The Consultants-E and one from the IATEFL Scholarship Working Party.
Judging will take place 14 – 28 days after the IATEFL conference, and applicants’ contributions to the conference Moodle as well as their statements of interest will be taken into account. The winner will be informed by email three to four weeks after the conference and invited to select his/her 2-week online course.
The winner will be announced in IATEFL Voices and featured in the conference programme of the following year.

The following prizes will be drawn at random from the online participants once the live conference has finished. Winners will be notified and their email addresses will be given to the company who will then contact them to arrange delivery of your prize..
